Our wheelchair accessible space in the upper 9th ward is a 900 sq ft whitebox with a full camera and lighting set up. Reachout to us if you'd like to look at our gear list, sets/props list, staffing options, or would like an in person tour.
The space is ideal for film and photoshoots with small fabricated sets, interviews, rehearsals, workshops screenings, screen tests, etc. We will also consider small private gatherings. It is not soundproofed and in a building with other tenants, so please ask us for a tour before booking to make sure it is compatible with your project.
W space is rented to community members and for larger scale projects at various rates, so if you are ready to request a quote and date, please fill out our booking request form and we'll get back to you within a day or so!
We will always keep our space open to queer filmmakers of color regardless of budget. To everyone else, we appreciate your contribution to our mission. The maintenance of the space is a labor of love, and rentals go directly to keeping our doors open, providing free education and access to gear, and sponsoring underfunded artists. Please keep this in mind when considering your budget for the booking form.

Our Rates
We offer community members, organizations, and large scale projects a four-hour photoshoot for $100/day.
We offer a twelve hour shoot at $300/day.

What we offer
Our flat rate covers access and use of the space. If you are interested in building a gear package with our available equipment, please specify in the booking inquiry form and we will follow up with a gear list. All shoots with gear will automatically be accompanied by a member of our team to oversee and support with setup and break down.
We are also able to provide staffing for your events and projects-- we have a large number of filmmakers and contractors on our team. If you're needing extra hands, please make a note of it in the booking inquiry and we will follow up with rates.
